Events & Field Marketing Manager  

The Role

Revention and company is seeking a talented Event & Field Marketing Manager to join our Demand Generation Marketing organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing B2B event and marketing programs for the restaurant industry. They will have a hands-on approach with their project management style and will work closely with Product Marketing, Product Development and Sales Leadership teams to plan and execute event and marketing activities at the highest level. The candidate must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. This is a unique opportunity to play a key, visible role in an exciting, fast-growing restaurant technology business.

 

Must Haves:

  • 3-5+ years event & field marketing experience in a tech environment, ideally restaurant technology. Large trade show knowledge is required.
  • Direct experience and ownership of producing various-size programs.
  • Manage exhibit booth and demo equipment installation and dismantle. Requires a collaborative effort with exhibit house vendors and various internal product management, product marketing, and sales teams.
  • Create promotional event content (website, promotional emails, social media posts) and provide guidance on the content mix and messaging needed to support the program.
  • Develop the demand generation strategy to drive event attendance, engagement, and generate marketing qualified leads.
  • Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision
  • Willing to provide a portfolio that shows examples of work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and marketing teams to develop and execute on program strategies.
  • Execute national and regional events with operational and logistical excellence using industry standard knowledge and applying innovation.
  • Manage exhibit booth and demo equipment installation and dismantle. Requires a collaborative effort with exhibit house vendors and various internal product teams.
  • Work with the creative / graphics team to develop concepts, messaging and deliverables supporting event programs.
  • Create promotional event content (website, promotional emails, social media posts) and provide guidance on the content mix and messaging needed to support the program.
  • Develop the demand generation strategy to drive event attendance and engagement and generate marketing qualified leads.
  • Execute programs that obtain new marketing qualified leads, generate net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and deepen / nurture our existing customer relationships.
  • Create measurement criteria and manage feedback with cross-functional teams to continually measure program effectiveness to fulfill sales initiatives and marketing objectives.

 

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years event & field marketing experience in a tech environment, ideally restaurant technology. Large trade show knowledge is required.
  • Direct experience and ownership of producing various-size programs.
  • Event strategy experience from program goals & objectives to show management.
  • Proactive self-starter who is results-orientated, detailed-oriented and deadline-driven but must also want to learn and be able to take direction when necessary.
  • Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision
  • Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent budgeting, negotiating, and vendor management skills. Proven ability to manage large scale event budgets up to $250k.
  • Salesforce.com, HubSpot, and WordPress experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically.
