Our Story

Revention was founded in 2003 with the goal of becoming the leading technology point of sale company, serving the hospitality industry. The name Revention was a play of several words such as: Revolutionary, Retention, Re-Invent, and Invention. All spun together to create Revention.

Since the initial release of the Revention POS platform in 2005, Revention has grown rapidly and now currently serves more than 10,000 customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, South America, the Caribbean, Iceland, and the UAE. A major role in Revention's success is being a customer driven organization that listens to all customer needs and works hard to add those efficiencies into their environments.
